Büro Schwimmer is a heterogeneous structure created by 4 people: 1 student of culture, 1 architect, 2-3 visual artists, 1 photographer, 1 projectionist.

Büro Schwimmer is the frame for all the managing aspects of the members cooperating, integrating or inviting artists as well as managing their own works.
Büro Schwimmer exists since summer 2005, which means that step by step Schwimmer’s fields are defined by their changing appearance. Schwimmer film – distribution is working, Schwimmer-music label „Jungs und Mädels“ exists since several years, as well as 1:1 magazine. Schwimmer art in context projects with 10 multipart slideshow editions in public space „Café-Kawiarnia Europa“ Lodz/Berlin and „Eye of the I“. Georg S. Schwimmer publisher edited „Mitten im Kosmos“ and the artists book „Working Days“ and the multilangual magazine 1:1.
Each Schwimmer project works legally and organisationaly independent from the others, and is under personal responsibility of one of the Schwimmers. Schwimmer is an association of independently working individuals supporting each other. The big international exhibition „ Normalnull – learn to swim“ happened in summer / autumn 2006. A catalogue will be published soon.
