The symposium took place from the 2nd to the 9th of september 2007 at the town hall of Kuldiga and in the cultural centre Zabadaks.

Built up on the experiences of the symposium a seminar and workshop was held end of July 2008: It took place again in Kuldiga, as a start for an elaborated research on the recollection of former Jewish life in Kuldiga, questioning how it is dealt with since the murders. Interviews with survivors and eyewitnesses were made.A publication is planned to be published in 2009.
